(SANTA FE, NM) Nüart Gallery is pleased to announce Winter Selections, an annual exhibition that invites viewers to experience the tranquil beauty of winter through the lens of contemporary fine art. The exhibition will run from January 24th through February 9th , 2025 with an opening reception on Friday, January 24th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.This exhibit features a curated selection of abstract and figurative works by gallery artists, this exhibition embraces the serene and muted color palette that defines the winter season.
As the world outside is stripped of its vibrant hues and enveloped in a blanket of stillness, Winter Selections highlights the quiet elegance of a constrained color palette. The minimalist landscape of winter serves as a perfect metaphor for the works on display, where simplified compositions and subtle tones bring forth a sense of calm, introspection, and inspiration. Much like a winter scene, these artworks offer clarity—free from distractions and full of poignant beauty.
By bringing together a diverse group of artists whose works embrace these minimalist sensibilities, Winter Selections offers a unique opportunity to experience the tranquil allure of winter in all its understated clarity and refined grace. The exhibition underscores the timeless connection between nature and art, as both serve to ground us in the present moment.
