Peter Stephens continues to evolve his compositional language in pursuit of the enigmatic optic potential of light by delving deep into the essence and interplay of color, form, and surface. Working above an underlying grid of complimentary color panels, he employs subtle modulations in acrylic line work to create mesmerizing matrices akin to textiles and architectural mosaics. Inspired by scientific patterns and mathematical formulas, these complex, mutable layers unfold gradients of reality, evoking places, memories, emotion, and cultural associations underneath hypnotic rhythms and meticulous methodology.

Rose Masterpol's new body of work reflects a space of transformation where thoughts are expressed as shapes and colors that ebb and flow like waves.
